6-23-06 3rd quarter Dues notices have been mailed as well as another notice about lots that have not been maintained according to the covenants concerning weed and grass height. Lots have been cut and expenses have been passed along to their respective lot owners. Herbicides can no longer be used to control growth on lots. Also, trees have been replaced that were destroyed by Katrina at the entrance and shrubs have been planted around the utility station in front of Old Dickory.
3-17-06 Dues notices have been mailed as well as notices of lots that are are in violation of the covenants' grass height and debris provisions. These lots will begin to be cleared and cut at the owner's expense at a cost of up to 150% of cost of having an insured contractor perform the task. This will begin on April 3rd.
Please keep up with your obligation of keeping your lots free of debris and grass/weeds no higher than 6".
2-15-06: The general meeting was held at the Delta Lions Club. A quorum was not present, there were 12 lots represented in addition to 2 proxies. A vote could not take place to elect the third director.
1-28-06: Hickory Ridge Development LLC is intending to transfer control of the Hickory Ridge Estates Homeowners Association to the property owners. They intend to appoint the initial officers as listed on the home page. This meeting is scheduled for 2/15/2006 at 7pm, at the Delta Lions Club on Hickory Ave. Click here for Agenda.
There will also be an informal organizational meeting of the officers and any interested members scheduled for 2/9/2006 at 6pm, at the Latter & Blum office at 5700 Citrus Blvd.
1-26-06: Rathborne Properties is having the fence around Hickory Ridge repaired/replaced at their own expense (over $30,000). The West vinyl fence will be repaired while the North and South fences will be replaced with wood.
